What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?

Question: hi,
One of kid in my family has slow mental and physical growth than usual .Actually we have twin kids and one kid is doing great as normal kid while she is slower in physical as well as mental activities . Brain CT Scan report says that "Mild paucity of white matter is seen in the posterior perriventricular region meaning". Can you please guide us.

I would like to reassure you that the abnormality is minor and there is no need to worry about that. These CT scan findings indicate minor brain damage due to lack of oxygen supply at the time of delivery.

We expect good improvement in the child in future, however, she may not be able to reach the development shown by the other kid.

There are special schools and training institutes for these children, where they learn a lot and get better.

Also, parents can play a big role in them getting better with more training at home also.

The medicines are mainly vitamins and tonics and they do not help much.
