Brief Answer: Can be due to cervicitis Detailed Answer: Hi, The meaning of fullness of the cervix means : Enlargement of the cervix. The cervix is the lowest part of the uterus. The incidence of diseases of the cervix increases with age. Your daughter is 41 years old. The reasons of the fullness is affection of this part of the cervix by some disease process. This can be due to cervicitis , meaning inflammation of the cervix by an infection. The other reason can be development of the cancer. The Gynecologist on a clinical and internal manual examination and inspection can have an idea as to why this has developed and will for for a PAP smear or a biopsy of the suspected part to decide why this fullness has occurred. Since the CT scan is showing only a fullness and nothing else, the chances of an infection are high. regards,
