Brief Answer:
Gastric erosion

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

Redness that was found on the endoscopy could be gastric erosions. It is the most common cause of upper abdominal pain.

Here is what you should do

1. Tab Omeprazole should be taken once daily before food for 1 month
2. Syp Mucaine gel is ideal for reduction of pain
3. Avoid milk, milk products, spicy food, alcohol and smoking
4. Do not sleep immediately after dinner
5. Have smaller meals 4-5 times a day rather than 3 heavy meals

A repeat endoscopy after 8 weeks is recommended to see for improvement

I hope i was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
