There is heart beat, there is enough weight, growth, etc... But we heard mom can feel the movement in this period of time. We are just worried, she is not feeling any movement. Could you please tell us, what we can do now?

Brief Answer:
DON'T BE WORRIED. Follow the advice.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

At first, you SHOULDN'T be worried much as she is carrying healthy pregnancy with NORMAL ultrasound scan and POSITIVE fetal heart beat. Your doctor also confirm good fetal movement through scan.

Baby DON'T move all the time and it should be felt by her at particular time and activity more clearly during sleeping, eating, household activity, listening music, day & night time variation etc.

She would count movements of her baby on regular basis - DFMC (Daily Fetal Movement Count) which will be more than 10 times in less than 2 hours.

Take healthy balanced diet, drink more water or fruit juice to stay hydrated and improve feto-placental circulation, take adequate bed rest. These will definitely help to increase fetal movement to some extent.

Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish her good health and successful motherhood.

Regards,
Dr S Patra
