What Does A Soft Lump On The Inside Of The Left Arm Indicate?

default
Posted on Mon, 21 Apr 2014
Question: Thank you doctor for allowing me to ask you a question in regards to a soft lump on the inside of my left arm just above the crease in my elbow a little to the right. I have been diagnosed with CRPS as well as lupus, arthritis, and fibromyalgia. The CRPS is in my left foot and left hand. The soft lump above the elbow crease has grown in one month from the size of a dime to a size a bit larger than a half dollar. I would appreciate any helpful idea of what this might be. Thank you

Brief Answer: not related Detailed Answer: hi, I am Dr Alok, pleased to answer your health related queries I do not think that this soft lump is related to any of these illnesses--lupus, arthritis and fibromyalgia, CRPS. It seems that it may be lipoma. I would like you to see a physician to confirm it. Your doctor would order for an ultrasound examination of the lump and if needed a small incision and biopsy may be performed as treatment. If you need further queries, please do not hesitate Dr Alok
