What Does A Purple Ring Shaped Bruise On The Wrist Indicate?
Question: I have a purple ring shaped bruise on the underside of my wrist...there is no swelling or hardening of the bruise,but the back of my wrist hurts&is swelling witn no discoloration...

Did you experience an insect bite?
If the lesion appeared spontaneously and is itchy, if could be an insect bite. Also it's possible if ringworm infection which is a fungal infection.
Keep the area sweat free, apply ointment with Betamethasone and antibiotic on it thrice a day.
