What Do These Following Urine And Blood Test Reports Indicate?

Question: Hi, I have attaching my cousin urine test & blood test report, he has fever from last 4-5 days yesterday little blood came out from mouth on seeing the doctor he suspected some stomach infection & suggest blood & urine test but after test he told that urinary tract infection but I fell to understand in UTI how can blood come out from mouth. please suggest.

Hello
Thanks for query ,Fever with blood from mouth that your cousin has is mostly due to Acute Gastritis associate with UTI.

Get his urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to so that he can be given appropriate antibiotic as per culture report .

In the mean while you can start with antibiotic like Cefexime and Nitrofurantoin along with H2 receptor antagonist like Pantaprazole twice daily .

Ensure he drinks more water to keep him well hydrated .
