What Do The Following Follicular Scan Report Indicate?

Question: Hello Doctor.... My last LMP was on 9th September. On performing follicular scan my gyno told me tat due to PCOD follicular growth is less and gave me two FSH injections. The follicular growth was good after taking those injections. On 27th September she gave me HCG injection. Took serum beta HCG on 9th October which showed HCG level <0.5 miu/ml. I was also taking susten 200mg from October 1 to 10. Till today I dint get my periods but still all HPTs are showing negative results.

Can I still hope for a positive result this month bcoz I have all pregnancy symptoms?
How long do I need to wait since I also have abdominal cramps?

Thanks for the query

I have gone through your query and I understand how precious pregnancy is for you. However since your HCG level is low it is too early to tell whether or not you are pregnant. Since you have not yet gotten your period there is still hope. I suggest you to re-try a urine pregnancy test after a week.

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply. Is it possible for the blood pregnancy test to increase from 0.5 miu/ml to some positive value in just 10 days or so?. Because when i did my blood test it 10 days past taking HCG trigger shot and 30th day of LMP, but still it showed <0.5 miu/ml.

Thanks for getting back. It is possible to have a postive HCG in 10 days once the pregnancy is confirmed. It is usually 13-14 days post ovulation however we wait upto two weeks after a delayed period
