Brief Answer:
Irritable bowel syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Hi Bxxxxx6, thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. You mentioned that you are having

- headache and stomach ache

- alternate constipation and diarrhea

- normal lab reports

After ruling out organic disease in you, diagnosis of "Irritable bowel syndrome" can be considered. It is an abdominal disease, mainly related to psychological functioning, which manifests as

- episodes of diarrhoea or constipation, mainly during stress situation

- Indigestion

- Bloating, excessive burping or farting

- gastro-colic reflex or urge to pass stools just after eating sometime.

- Normal blood investigations and ultrasound/CT abdominal reports.

To confirm, you should discuss it with your doctor. It can be treated by

- Doing regular exercise and Yoga to improve digestion and control stress
- Avoid mental stress
- Keep yourself busy in work and hobbies
- Medication like benzodiazepines can be tried after prescription. It will relieve anxiety.
- Tricyclic antidepressants and SSRI's also help in treating it. You need to consult psychiatrist to get prescription.

Hope it will help. If any doubt, do let me know.
Thanks. Take care.
