Brief Answer:
Anxiety, high blood pressure

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Those abnormal, flowing sensations usually are benign and do not indicate any brain injury. Often they are related to increased muscle tension usually in the setting of anxiety. Over the counter antiinflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen are usually effective. If anxiety is a present factor relaxation techniques might help, if persistent medication may also be considered.
Another possible explanation might be high blood pressure. That value is slightly raised. One measurement is not enough though as it can be affected by many factors, but it does call for attention and it should be measured during the following days, if high on repeat measurements it should be addressed.

I remain at your disposal for further questions.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for your feedback!

As I said there is no worrying indication in that description, the rubbing fact which you mention reinforces that as brain issues are not affected by such actions.

Regarding treatment I already mentioned that medication like Ibuprofen or Naproxen should alleviate the symptoms. If you feel that it is triggered by stress and anxiety, that should be addressed as well. It is always preferable to avoid medication for that and try means like exercise and yoga. There are also preventive treatments like Amitriptyline if the rest do not work, but they are prescription drugs and should be consulted by a doctor before.

Also some routine blood tests like blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, thyroid function are advisable to exclude other conditions like anemia, infection, hyperthyroid related anxiety.

I hope to have been of help.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully. It is a little difficult to express an opinion based only on that info. Generally I would say that a kidney cyst is a benign finding which shouldn't be a cause of much concern. However in your case since you say that you had surgery it would be useful to know the results of the biopsy of the cyst and whether the doctors consider it a simple cyst.

If a benign kidney cyst then management depends on symptoms. If no bothersome symptoms it can be left as it is and followed in time. If it is big enough to cause symptoms on the other hand, or if there is a doubt regarding it being a simple cyst then re-intervention may be necessary either through puncture and draining or through surgery.
