Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
See, basically the baby is situated inside the uterus ( womb ).
The baby is surrounded by water ( fluid ) called amniotic fluid.
This fluid allows the baby to breathe, move and grow and cushions it from any shock or injury.
It is a very essential thing for the baby to have enough water surrounding it.
Less fluid will lead to decreased growth of the baby and various other complications during pregnancy.
There are many reasons for low amniotic fluid level.
Inadequate water intake by the mother is a main reason.
Other reasons may be - abnormalities in the baby, decreased nutrition to the baby from the placenta, maternal diseases like hypertension , anemia etc.
Taking the Arginine sachets is recommended to increase fluid levels.
The mother should drink atleast 5 litres of water daily, in fact, more in summer and hot weather.
Also, take lots of watermelon, grapes, musk melon , cucumber and water containing fruits.
Take lots of rest.
Avoid stress or exertion of any kind.
IS her blood pressure normal, and all other tests - are they normal ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.
PS - I would appreciate it if you can upload the TIFFA scan report so that I can also give my opinion about the amniotic fluid levels.
