Question: Hello , i had a CBC and metabolic test 3 weeks ago and results that got me litle worried are:
1. Total Calcium serum: 10.9 (High)
2.total protein : 8.3 ( upper high normal range)
3. Albumin, serum : 5.3 ( upper high normal range)
4. Globulin : 3.0 (Normal)
5. A/G ratio: 1.8 ( Normal)
6. Bilirubin : 0.4 mg/DL ( Normal)
7. BUN : 9 ( Normal)
8. Creatinine,serum : 1.01 ( Normal)
9. EGFR : 101ml/min/1.73 ( Normal)
10. Potassium : 5.0 ( Upper high normal range)

So i only had calcium and protein high and am looking for endocrinologist for further testing and i had appointment in next another 6 weeks, But from last 2 days i had little foamy urine and foam disappears after 1--2 mins and whatever i read about foamy urine its all related to kidney disease.

So do you think i had normal results 3 weeks before and this is just my anxiety or it can go bad in such short time. please tell me what your thoughts.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Calcium

Detailed Answer:
Recheck your calcium after an overnight fast. Sometimes if you have eaten prior to the test the blood calcium can come back high.

If you were fasting for this test too, then a test called Ionized calcium can help confirm this.

The urine foaming does not seem to be directly related to high calcium but will require further investigation.

Brief Answer:
Follow up

Detailed Answer:
It is possible but this need to be systematically evaluated. So you can start with a Urine analysis to see if there is protein leaking in it in abnormal quantities.
