What Do Bloody Strings In Urine Indicate?

default
Posted on Fri, 31 Oct 2014
Question: I have bloody strings in my urine. Even looks like it has whiskers. My urine is clear and these long strings do not settle quickly to the bottom of the toilet. I am almost 72 and have had this problem for almost a year. I have not had any serious pain. i have fibromyalgia and I use Young Living essential oils. I also have been getting a weekly massage for a year. No fever.

Brief Answer:
Get urine analysed!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this bloody strings that you have reported in your urine and all the inconveniences this has caused you. The best way to address this observation is to get a urine sample to the laboratory for analysis. They would first confirm that for real it is blood and other clues from the exam would help us tell from what part of the urinary tract this is coming from. All this would be very important in identifying the cause and treating appropriately.

This has been going on for long and observing any longer is not an option. Also, fibromyalgia or weekly massage cannot explain this. I would encourage you to drink at least 1.5Liters of fluid daily.

I hope that this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Do you know anything about essential oils? If not, refer my question to someone who does. Thank you.
I am thinking overuse of the oils in the beginning may have caused my body to go into detox mode. As you may have guessed, I have incontinence as well. I am drinking more water than I ever have in my life. I do not drink sodas anymore. I have a cup of coffee in the morning and the rest that I drink is water. Do you know of an independent lab that I could send my urine sample to?

Brief Answer:
I doo know about essential oils!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up.

I know much about essential oils but I do not prescribe the for treatment purposes.

Drinking much water is good so long as the body can handle it. If this is deliberate, there is no reason to get worried. However, if this is because you always feel thirsty, it may a sign of a disease. Let me know if this is a willful decision or it is because of exaggerated thirst.

Your location is not specified. Also, I do not encourage clients to go and do test without it being recommended by their treating physician, as a physician, I do not always like to see results that I had no idea why they were carried out. Your doctor would help direct you on where to go to for this test to be carried out.

Our advice/suggestions/recommendations are meant to be a guide you on what to do and in no way replaces your doctor. I will like that you discuss the symptoms with your doctor and suggest our recommendations so that he can integrate that into his reasoning and management plan.

I wish you well. If there is more you want us to talk on at this time, feel free to ask me.

I almost never get thirsty. It is a deliberate decision to drink more water. I am not comfortable going to my doctor as I don't like my information shared with the government. I would not be willing to take any pharmaceutical offered. A hospital for testing would be out of the question in this time of total breakdown of the medical system and the danger of infection. I'm pleased that you know about the essential oils. Good for you and your family. ;)

Brief Answer:
I respect your view point!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up information.

I respect your views about visiting the hospital and not willing to get any laboratory investigations done. I know that the hospital is out for the patients first before any other interest. The HIPAA act greatly restricts who has access to your information and it cannot be shared with third parties without prior consent from you. You may want to ask your doctors about that and find out who has access to your information and who doesn't. No hospital would deliberately contaminate patients. Though it does happens, it is very rare.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Am open for more discussions if you find that necessary.
