Question: I am on ability 45mg and ciperlex 0.5

at night

I smoke

I do not drink very often at all

why are my eyes and mouth yellow ?

Hi and thanks for the query,

Yellowish eyes and mouth are generally associated with jaundice. However, the impression of having yellowish eyes / mouth could be very subjective, at times erroneous. It might interesting to get them examined by your primary care physician.

The drugs you are taking do not have as side effect an acute inflammation of the liver (acute hepatitis) that could explain yellow eyes.

I will suggest getting your eyes examined by a doctor to be sure if they are yellowish or not. It is mainly on these grounds that further testing to ascertain the cause can be done.

I think you need not bother that much at this point in time. You might ask friends to check if they are yellow as you await to see a doctor.
