Brief Answer:
Active watch on any new symptoms and have patience

Detailed Answer:
Hi Telman,

We have not followed up such cases. Usually once we given an opinion, they follow up with their pediatrician. If there are no other complaints, then most kids do well. So do not panic.

You always need to keep a watch on other symptoms related to eye, bones, dentition, kidney.
Have regular check ups for the child to see for early complications in these at least and take prompt treatment. Nails may subsequently improve over time in few instances. In some cases these systems may get involved too. So a regular follow-up is a must.

Photos are clear.

Thank you
Dr Bharatesh
