Suggestion Of Cure For Strong Sensations In The Head Coupled With Shivering

Hi I have been experiencing some strange sensations over the back of my head & also along my right forearm. I have two ways of describing the sensations which the first one is like a very slight shiver effect which initially started about 5 days ago. It happens every couple of minutes & its travels like a wave from the back of my head near the top of the neck ( from middle to right side) & over my scalp to towards the right front. There is no pain it is very much sensation. A first I was getting a cold feeling in the area after the wave & this is why I relate it to a shiver. It lasts for about 2 seconds. The exact same thing was happening with my right arm around the elbow forearm area. The last day or two it seems to feel like the cold effect has gone & it seems more liKe a static electricity wave. More with a warm sensation than a cold one now . No headaches no pains, been under some stress due to an exam now completed. Not long finished a bottle of Zeolite & taking prebiotic capsules as well as some vitamins selenium, taurine , multi, vitamin d, garlic caps & vit e caps. Attend Numerous gym classes a week & swim. I m female & 46 yrs old . Any ideas ??

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,

It could be the sign of cervical spondylosis. It is usually due to nerve root compression. Avoid gymming and swimming for some days. Go for MRI of cervical spine. Consult a neurologist.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shubham Mehta, Psychiatrist
