What Causes Watery Semen?
Question: Hi Sir/Madam,
for the last few years my semen has been a bit more watery than it used to be. It is still whitish in colour but less thick in texture. If I abstain from ejaculation it does thicken up after around 4-5 days. I had a semen analysis which came back that I have normal sperm. But could this be another problem that needs to be addressed? I have spoken to doctors online before who said this is normal. Although one doctor said it could be a prostate problem?

Thanks for query .Based on the facts that you have posted It appears that you have noticed your semen to be watery and less in viscosity .
I shall be happy if you can post few more details to hep me in making comments on your problem .
1) Are you masturbating frequently ?
2)Are you married and having sexual intercourse for more than once in short period of time .?
Normally it takes 24 hour for the semen of the same quality to get replaced the whatever is discharged during first ejaculation .The volume and viscosity in subsequent ejaculation is not same as the first one .
If you do not have other symptoms like pain during ejaculation ,burning urination or frequency for urination you need not worry at all .

Thank you for your response. I have recently began a new relationship with my sex life has increased. The only thing it does take a few days to fully "thicken out". As i said its not that it's not white its just a watery white then a thicker white you see in the "movies", unless i leave it for about 4 days. To be honest its more of a confidence thing as I know the colour does not define the sperm count. (I have had one and it was all fine anyway). I assume this is all in my head?

Do not compare your semen texture with that of porn stars that you see in porn moves.It is all photographic trick .
