Question: Hi, my name is XXXXXXX I am 32 y.o. 2 months ago I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts a small ones. Doctor said this is not serious and then can go away itself. For a last month before my period due. Me and my partner tried to conceive. My period came late for 7-8 days. I 2 days before they started, I had a sharp pain and even couldn't sleep at night. This sort of strong pain never happened before. Then suddenly, I felt like blood came if something busted. I could see a pink color with some pieces on my pad. It's was no strong bleeding. Next day, I've changed about 3-4 extra large pads beeing full with blood and day after as well. On 3d day, there are was nothing as someone switched the tab.
Usually, my periods starting slowly and continue for 5- 6 days, then I see some brown color discharges for another 2-3 days after that.
This lool like I 've lost a lot of blood. Now after 3 days, there almost no discharges, but pain at lower abdominal. I feel very tiered. Also I've noticed a contipection for about last 2-3 weeks.

Could you please advise, what is it?

Can I be pregnant?

Thank you

Brief Answer:
This is unlikely to be pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

Folowing is my reply:

1) It is normal to have such variation in bleeding patterns once in a while due to hormonal variaion. Dont worry about this episode.

2) This is unlikely to be related to pregnancy as you have tried before periods which is late for trying to get pregnant.

3) You can do a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.

4) This hormonal variation was probably due to the cyst that was observed. I dont think this episode is likely to repeat. Pain you experienced was probably due to rupture of cyst which were observed on ultrasound scan.

Let me know if you need anymore help.
