What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Between Periods?
Question: Hi, the last 2 times my boyfriend & I have had sex there has been bright red blood in our mixed fluids right afterward. I'm mid-cycle so it isn't menstrual blood.
The first time, it seemed to be a lot and we had both achieved orgasm. The second time, it wasn't as much and I was too anxious about the blood from last time to have an orgasm, so it was just him. I have no pain and it's gone as soon as I clean up. He started antibiotics for a sinus infection and ambien approx 2 days before the first episode. I'm not on any medication.
1) How do we know which one of us is bleeding?
2) What could cause this?
