Question: I am post menopausal. Have had several health issues and today am having vaginal bleeding it that a cause for concern

If you have been without periods or any bleeding for a year or more, then yes, you should definitely go get this checked out.
I don't want to worry you as the cervix can grow benign little polyps sometimes, but you should have a pelvic exam, and an endometrial biopsy. This procedure can be done in the gynecologists office without anesthesia. A tiny tiny tube is inserted thru the cervix and a plug of the inside of the uterus is removed and sent to a lab for evaluation.
If you only recently went thru menopause, then it could still be a bit of irregular hormones.
