Brief Answer:
Yes.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your query.

From your history it seems the osteoarthritis of knee is developing.

Because in osteoarthritis the joint gets inflamed and due to osteophyte or bone spur formation occurs, then movements of joint become painful. After sometimes occurs weakening of muscles which further enhances the pain in leg. Also muscles of knee and knee joint itself are supplied by same nerve so pain always occur in leg if joint is stressed.

You should get x-ray of both knees standing in AP and Lateral and send me the report I will do grading of osteoarthritis and will advise you the treatment.

Till then avoid squatting and upstairs.

Apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening.

Take 1 tab. aceclofenac+thiocolchicoside three times a day.

Atlast I would like to say that you are correct that you have knee problems and it could be from compensating for the knees.

I hope you have got your answer.

I you have found my answer excellent you can award me full marks.

You may ask me any health related query.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh.
