Question: I am currently on my 6th week of lexapro and ik noticing that I'm bruising really bad. I haven't bumped into anything or fell, but I have been taking ibuprofen. should I be concerned?

Thanks for your query.

Abnormal bruising or other bleeding manifestation can be an adverse effect of lexapro. The risks increase if the patient is simultaneously on aspirin, Ibuprofen or similar drugs.

So I think you should stop the Ibuprofen and report this event to the prescribing doctor.
