What Causes Uncontrollable Urge To Urinate Along With Burning Sensation During Urination?
Question: Hi,
I have been having a problem of uncontrollable urge to urinate along with pain for last 3-4 weeks. It happened on three ocassions where i faced this issue for a day and the next day it subsided on its own.
last it happened yesterday when i sometimes urinated more than 5 times in an hour along with pain and burning sensation with urination. But strangely it didnt happen during the night and when i woke up today it was gone again. Last two ocassions were exactly the same where it automatically subsided the next day.
Please suggest what could this be. I also have multiple sclerosis if that is of any help to you.

Dear First I would like to know wether you have dribbling of urine with decreased flow associated with it or it is only associated with increased frequency and urgency?
These symptoms could be because of urinary tract infection.I would suggest you to get done Urine routine and ultrasound abdomen to exclude post void urine retention .And follow accordingly as you may need antibiotic course to eradicate the infection.

Dear doctor,
i dont have a dribbling problem(that is no drops of urination leak out after emptying the bladder). However, i feel the sensation of empty bladder after 4-5 urinations on these days where every subsequent urination is lesser in quantity sometimes as less as 3-4 drops only.
also, my urination is slightly more yellow in comparison to its normal colour.
Please suggest what could this be and why does it come and go the way it has been happening.Thanks again.

Dear there are many causes which can cause post void urine retention in bladder.For example weak bladder detrusor muscle,weak bladder sphincter contraction and some time no cause is found.But post void urine retention could cause all these symptoms and urine tract infection.
