There is no cure for this disease but with immunosuppressive drugs like corticosteroids, methotrexate, azathioprine etc, you can control the disease activity and reduce your sufferings. So better to consult rheumatologist and discuss all these. You will need combination of immunosuppressive drugs in taper down fashion with close monitoring. You have to take these drugs for life long. So consult rheumatologist. It is very difficult to assume life expectancy in this disease.
