I am on Lasix 40. I am getting very little urine, and last urine was in today's morning. My last dialysis session was on saturday. There is no burning sensation in urine and neither any pain in abdomen.

But for last 2 week, I had big blood pressure fluctuation (220/120 - 115/70). This is accompanied by low urine. Please advise how can I increase the urine output.

Brief Answer:
You require increase Lasix.

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Probably what I can judge from your short history based on my experience is that you are probably having low Urine output due to minimal functioning of the Kidney.
Don't attempt to increase water consumption to increase the output as you may land into fluid over load.
My recommendations for you in such case would be to double the dose of Lasix or Switch to Torsemide (Dytor) if no relief.
You need to be on regular dialysis sessions.
Also get your Urine routine and culture done to be sure that there is no Urinary tract infection.
I hope it helps you.
Please share my opinion with your doctor before you act upon it.
If you have any further query, please ask me.

You have to have test for urinary tract infection. But shouldn't haemogram should indicate elevated level of TLC.. Beside my physician suggest to take 100 mg of dytor for 3 days.. Read somewhere that deuritics have side effect on remaining nephrons. Is that true? Please advise.

Brief Answer:
Yes but that's required.

Detailed Answer:
Hi. Yes you can get your complete blood count done but CKD is an immunocompromised state and hence WBC may be normal inspite of infection.
I would also recommend the same Dytor and yes they have nephrotoxic action but at present you have no other safer option.
Good luck.
