Brief Answer:
Like to know some more information

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear. Thanks of writing on HCM.

I were to first rule out if the pain is due to cardiac origin by doing an ECG and treadmill.

Its equally important to identify if this pain is due to compression of the nerve (arising from the neck).I were to examine and do the relevant investigations(X-ray).

Would be glad to know some more information-
Does the pain increase with breathing?
Does it worse in lying down position?
Does it increase when you lift your hands above the shoulder?
Are you known diabetic?
Have you been using any medications?
Do you smoke?alcohol?

Awaiting your response.

Brief Answer:
Examine, evaluate and manage accordingly

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear.Thanks for writing back.

I would suspect nerve compression. However I were to examine left shoulder, palpate shoulder girdle, check for restriction of movements, do an X-ray and plan further management. If you have done any tests please upload the reports. You also have the option to send them to me by email at YYYY@YYYY and address it to my name.

Hope this answers your query
