Brief Answer:
hi

Detailed Answer:
diabetics ARE KNOWN TO SUFFER FROM KIDNEY DISEASE AFYTER FEW YEARS. uTMOST PREPERATION IS REQUIRED TO TACKLE THE SEVERAL COMPLICATIONS THAT ARE USUALLY ASSOCAITED WITH DIABETES.
As per the history given by you, your father is accumulating water in his lungs and thats why feeling bretahless. It also can be due to high blood pressure and anemia ( less blood). YOu need to check these two aspects also. Let him go for three times a week hemodilaysis throgh arterio venous fistula. He can normal diet with slightl;y less salt ( dont decrease drastically ) includidng non vegetarian diet. He can take total of 1.5 lit of fluyids dialy. See that his hemoglobin is around 11 gma nd BRP less nearere to normal. As these patients are supposed to be having cardiac dysfunction also, you eed to get 2D Echo scan etc after consulting a cardiologist. Its bettrer to avoid sleep producing tablets. He cn take some laxatives to get free stools.
