What Causes Shortness Of Breath During Physical Activity?

Question: I am 54yrs old my symptoms started about 49 yrs of age. Any type of acertion like walking more or sometimes less than 50 feet causes me to lose air (have what seems like asama attack) I have been tested for aligys, c.o.p.d. Throat dysfunction. Am curntly on 10mg of Pregnisone, all kinds innebulizers. Untieing my shoes or tieing is also difacult. Is there anything you can think of as diagnosis, I'm getting tired of my doctors just giving more& more meds
