Question: Strong heart beat, can feel pulse in both legs mainly behind the knees and calfs when pressed against each other or siting on chair, feet are cold. Odd shooting pain in either leg. Currently on medication OMEPRAZOLE 20mg for stomach as had been feeling strong nausea in the mornings & also wakening up during the night with nausea. Stomach feels a little swollen enlarged than normal, no pain. Stools are dark brown, very dark.

I am congested at the moment around the nasal area, coughing up light/white coloured mucus but is thick. Temp feels okay & generally feel okay just concerned about stonach & especially pulses in both legs!

Brief Answer:
Gastroesophageal reflux disease and possibly hypertension!

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the consultation at my virtual clinic HCM!
I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns today and will put my best efforts to get you out of this situation.

Probabilities:-
The issues with the stomach are serious in nature and need to be addressed in a timely fashion. You have high acidity and the excess acid regurgitates up into the esophagus and goes to the mouth touching the throat structures and upper airways too. You are having the issue of cough due to that irritation and inflammation and is causing the mucus thick and white in characteristics.

Strong heart beats and feeling of pulse needs to rule out the cardiac disease too. Your Primary care physician can evaluate and if needed can refer to a cardiologist.

You need to take care of your blood pressure and go for the screening for the hypertension from your primary care doctor. Thyroid disease and diabetes mellitus type II may also contribute to the issues of legs along with that of the hypertension.

Medication guide:-
Take Dexilant
Levosulpiride
Claritin
Ondansetron.
Citrucel dietary fiber and excessive water intake.

Raise the headboard end of your bed by keep the blocks made for this purpose.
Avoid Spices and fatty fried and junk foods.
no beverages and caffeinated drinks and chocolates.

If you feel nothing is working anymore for you, go for an endoscopy (EGD) for seeing the cause of the issue and to see if there is any ulcer in upper gastrointestinal tract. Also then you will need a Urea Breath test and Serology for H. Pylori stomach infection. It can be the cause for hyperacidity and is curable with medications. Your Gastroenterologist will then be a help for you.

Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you with expert opinion.
