What Causes Severe Pain In The Stomach?

Question: I get a severe pain in my stomach after I eat breakfast and have bowel movement in the morning. This is the only time it happens. Pain lasts three minutes. Have had it off and on for over 6 months. On a scale of 1 to 10 pain is an 8.

Hi and thank you for asking.

You are reporting to have had stomach pain after breakfast.
These issues may be related with :
- IBS
- stomach issues and hyperacidity.

If I were your treating doctor I would suggest to :
- perform an upper GI endoscopy
- perform colonoscopy

Meantime I would suggest to:
- avoid fatty , sugar and spicy foods
- use antispasmodic drugs like Dicyclominin or Butiscopolamine.
