Brief Answer:
Yes,please get him evaluated by a pediatrician urgently

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

The two most common cause of sudden onset of pain in testicle are infection (epididymoorchitis) and testicular torsion.
Out of these two testicular torsion is an emergency condition and need to be managed by surgery on urgent basis to avoid permanent damage.
Although there are few symptoms like fever, swelling, redness or clinical findings which can differentiate between these two but these are not confirmatory and color doppler test should be done.
With help of color doppler the diagnosis can be confirmed or ruled out.
If this is not testicular torsion then it is most likely an infection and can be managed with antibiotic and analgesic.
So I would request you to get him evaluated by a pediatrician and if suggested get color doppler done for better management.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more query.
Thanks and regards
