Question: pretty suddenly, muscle pain in my thighs and calf's along with swelling and bruising in my right ankle and foot, no strenuous activity prior to pain, but the pain is as if I ran very hard and long

It is possible that toy could be having muscle spasm of the calves due to Electrolyte disturbances, dehydration, Vitamin deficiency etc.

It is important to consume fresh fruit and green leafy vegetables daily. Drink 4-6 glasses of water daily. So warmup exercises before you work out. Do calf muscle stretching exercises. Apply hot packs to the painful regions or warm soaks in Epsom salts. Get 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Avoid fatigue. Perform yoga.

You can take Tablet Neurobion forte once a day for a month to replenish any vitamin deficiency which can cause this problem.
