Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for submitting your question
to HCM.

The symptoms you describe can be caused by a variety of reasons*, and unfortunately it is impossible to definitively determine what they may be without a physical examination and possible adjunct testing. Some considerations include colitis (infectious or inflammatory), gastritis, hormonal imbalance (thyroid), systemic illness, or even depression. As you can see, the differential is quite broad and other factors to consider include length of time, severity, and association of the symptoms. It would be very reasonable to see your physician for a good examination and discussion for treatment plan. I hope this is helpful and that you will be feeling better soon.

Sincerely,
Dr Galamaga
