Question: Yesterday I was driving and had sudden onset of severe crushing chest pain, broke out into a sweat, felt I was going to vomit and or urgent to go to toilet, I am not normally a panic person. I could drive so lucky stopped out the front of the dr. surgery I attend. They did an ecg and said was all normal, and the pain did subside, but my sternum, and both arms felt like a tender bruise feeling. I looked at my ECG this morning and it read all normal except mentioned abnormal repolarisation ??? just wondering what this means thankyou

Brief Answer:
Abnormal repolarization patterns frequently can be found in healthy adults

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,

Annormal repolarization patterns are quite common, especially among young and they are not considered as pathology.
Usually they are benign, and there is nothing to be concerned about it.

Wishing you good health
