Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the details .

* This relates to some sort of childhood trauma to her subconscious mind
through some instance which has made a big impact ; making her strongly
thinking like that it is pleasurable when others are suffering .

* In my opinion , she requires adequate counselling sessions with expert
Psychiatrist , who will take out the root cause from the thorough history
and interaction with her .

* Do not panic , you have to keep patience at this moment to support her
moral ; it is totally curable condition .

Hope this will help you to understand the issue .

Wishing your XXXXXXX fine health ahead .
Regards dear take care .

she never had any childhood trauma though any other things that can cause it?

Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi

* The childhood trauma here does not mean any external blow to head , this
means some incidence which may be casual for you or anybody , but her sub
conscious mind has taken it deep root and giving her agony at present .

* The way in which she has been brought up since birth , is also one of
the major contributing factor for the same .

What do u mean?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel 6 hours later
Brief Answer:
follow up .

Detailed Answer:
Welcome .

* I mean this as the very normal or casual incidence of some event , which
may be non specific for us in case of minor injury or something to somebody ,
which may have been taken differently from her subconscious mind .

* The way of bringing up means that the surrounding where she spends her
time like school environment , classmates or even friends in colony or
nearby ; anywhere she has been in constant exposure to certain
situations which her subconscious mind may have been taken in that
manner granted that looking others in pain is pleasurable .

@ As for example , children have even role model in their mind , say some
teacher or best friend , whom they follow remotely .
If someone like this , has this type of personality , then also she will adopt
this as a part of just follower , nothing else .

* I know this is very difficult to make you understand , but these are
certain easiest words in which I have tried to convey you the details .

Regards .

Its not like that she watches movies over and over again that shows people in pain all the time. She also likes to inflict pain on her friends and siblings and she gets obsessed with certain people and she hurts herself on purpose so that person notices it and helps her. Its really weird.

Brief Answer:
follow up .

Detailed Answer:
Hi

* There is definite underlying psychological disturbance going on which provokes
her to do like this , many of her acts are not under her conscious mind
control it is governed by her subconscious mind .

* Initiation may be from any point say some favorite cartoon character
doing like this or from some movie or else , your primary goal should
be now towards her proper medical diagnosis and precise management to
give her best future which is your prime responsibility as parent .

Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi

* To be more precise , say for example , when she was watching some favorite
cartoon of her at anytime , her favorite cartoon character which is very likely
to her ; she had seen that character beating another character and becoming
happy - that incidence may have provoked in her mind that by this act
one gets pleasure .

can it be trauma from it?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel 7 hours later
Brief Answer:
yes , it can be internal trauma through that .

Detailed Answer:
Hi

* Here we are discussing about the internal trauma to her , because any external
trauma heals within days ; but the incidences that have impacted internal
trauma to subconscious mind takes long time even in terms of years to get
healed .

* Again I will be more precise that those punishments can be a part of cause
along with some other factors contributing in it .

* Best way for cure of your daughter is counselling sessions with expert
Psychiatrist , this is totally curable and reversible condition .
But along with that requires extensive family support for the behavior
modifications .

Is the a form of Multiple Personality Disorder or a new DID entirely?
I'm going to have to ask you to take me seriously and believe everything i say. I'm Have you ever heard of a case of Multiple Personality Disorder where the person has NO HOST personality, only the alters???
I go by Silas, I'm the most intellectual of the alters. There are 9 of us total. Me, Sasha, Gabriel, Lily, Melody, Rose, Fang, Serah, and Shadow. They are all essentially their own people, with thier own memories and traits.
The "us" is a 14 year old female, but, for example I ,Silas, am a 17 year old male.

Is this a diagnosed disorder, or are we in new territory????

Depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, some sort of personality disorder (currently being addressed), focal dystonia, dry eyes, eczema, fast heart rate, food allergies, skin allergies, hypermobility, extremely tight hamstrings & glutes leading to back problems, constant nausea, diarrhoea, fatigue all the time, thrush etc etc

I am a mother of a 16 year old boy. For a few years (since12 years old) he began engaging in behaviors such as disobeying and ignoring all home rules, staying out late at night, having friends a few years his senior and either waking up late for school or missing school due to illness complaints. He turns from being a very amazing person to this other person. He is highly intelligent except he is barely passing or failing subjects. Everyone sees his potential, yet he has this other side to him. Should I be concerned about dissociative personality disorder?
