Question: last night my wife had some reaction - type symptom for no apparent reason. He skin felt cool to the touch but she said it felt like it was burning from the inside. The skin on her legs wrinkled up very oddly and noticeably and was a pinkish color. Pulse and BP were normal. Eyes ok - not dilated. No itching or swelling. No typical stroke or heart attack symptoms. condition lasted about 20 minutes.

Thank you Doctor.

Nothing with diabetes and we both ate a regular, simple meal last night. She has had hot flashes before, but she says this was different. The skin wrinkled for at least 12 inches above her knees in ridges about a half inch high. This was also apparent on upper arm and upper thigh, but smaller in scope and did not last long. There were no reported muscles spasms or tremors.

She takes Tegretol to control seizures, but there were no seizure symptoms and she has been taking the medication for over 2 years.

Thanks for your help. I have just never seen anything like this before and thought such an odd symptom might be recognizable as a red flag for something.

Thanks,
XXXXXXX
