What Causes Rash Behind Ears Spreading To Arms And Legs?

Question: my grandson is in Peru and has come down with a rash behind his ears, spread to his arms and legs. It is reddened rash, blistery with yellowish discharge. Very itchy. ? scabies ?contact dermatitis. My daughter said his eye really hurt and she put water on it to make it feel better.(may not be related) She did not mention any other symptoms. Do you have any ideas? XXXXXXX

If yes, any of his friends or familiars going through skin problems recently? - is he also having fever, diarrhea or other symptom? From what you are describing, it might be eczema or skin infection. Hi There, He had diarrhea a week and half ago for no apparent reason. He left for Peru last Monday and was fine. He does go to pre-school but I do not know if any other children have had skin infections. Last night I did upload pictures of the rash to you. It doesn't really look like eczema to me. No other symptoms that I know of. Thank you, XXXXXXX
