Brief Answer:
Likely to be viral illness

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Sir

Going by description of your symptoms , the cause is likely to be viral prodromal illness. Sore left ear could be due to eustachian tube catarrh.

I would suggest you the following

1. Ensure good intake of water and fluids

2. Analgesic/Antipyretic like Paracetamol will be helpful

3. Steam inhalation preferably using electronic steamer for 10-15 minutes twice a day will be helpful

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you

Take Care

Best Regards
Dr Shobha Deepak
