What Causes Pinching Sensation In Back, naseua And Frequent Urination?

Question: i am a 17 year old woman. I have always had a 28 day cycle, started when i was 11. never late, never missed. This month i have had sex several times with my boyfriend and we practice the pull out method. Since i decided that that method was a bit unreliable, i went to my doctor and she did give me birth control, but i had to wait until the sunday after my next period to use it of course. Well, my last cycle started on march 15, it is now april 14th and im wondering where my period is. I have been having odd pinching in my sides and back, very very very slight naseua, peeing ALL THE TIME. LIKE INSANE AMOUNTS OF TIME. i cant get through a six hour shift without peeing at least twice. It doesnt seem like a uti because there is a plausible amount of pee coming out. It is a bit cloudy however. slightly tender breasts (but that seems to have tapered down a smidge in the last couple of days), sleeping all the time now, and eating all the time; almost uncontrollably. Ive always loved food but not this much. no particular cravings or mood swings. I seem to be waking up at night several times just because im simply uncomfortable. I used to sleep through the night regardless. Ive seen a bit of vaginal discharge but i always got that before a period so i wasnt worried until it didnt come. i just took a home pregnancy test but it came up negative. i was wondering if i could still be pregnant or is there a different reason as to why i am getting these symptoms?

Brief Answer:
Due to contraceptive pills.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The delay in the periods and all the symptoms that you are having with a negative pregnancy test are due to side effects of the birth control pills that you are taking. Since your pregnancy test is negative pregnancy is ruled out.
You can start with your next pack of pills after 7-day drug free interval irrespective of your periods. This will regularize in next 2-3 cycles. Please do not worry.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Due to hormonal imbalance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
If you have not started with birth control pills yet then this could be due to mild hormonal changes caused by stress anxiety change in diet or exercise or other environmental factors. It is best to wait for a week and see if your periods start spontaneously. In case there is still no bleeding then test your urine again for pregnancy after a week to detect any delayed conception.
Hope my answer is helpful.

thank you for your time and decency. Do these sound like possible early pregnancy signs? How likely is it that i may be pregnant compared with the other possibilities against it? and if it does turn out to be hormonal, what must i do in order to prevent this kind of scare from happening again?

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy less likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Chances of pregnancy are less than 5% but needs to be ruled out if the periods do not come after a week more. The signs are non specific and do not conclusively indicate pregnancy.
Avoid taking stress and maintain a healthy life style with a regular diet sleep and exercise pattern to avoid such problems in future.
Regards.
