Brief Answer:
Bacterial folliculitis Or ingrown hair i.e pseudofolliculitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query and I have noted down your concern.

You seem to be suffering from either bacterial folliculitis Or ingrown hair i.e pseudofolliculitis

I suggest you to use a topical antibacterial e.g 2% mupiricin ointment twice daily.
A week of an oral antibiotic e.g either amoxicillin or cloxacillin would help dry out infection and pus.

Avoid close shaving in that area. Shaving should be along the groin preferably.

Ensure that your pubic hair are softened before shaving. Shaving either during or immediately after a hot shower makes hair soft and reduces trauma of shaving.

Other measures like using a hydrating shaving gel or foam and discarding old rusty blades also helps reduce risk of pseudofolliculitis and bacterial folliculitis.

You can avoid shaving altogether or use a chemical depilatory cream.

Regards
