Question: I am passing blood with clots in urine and suffering burning sensation and discomfort while urinating and frequent urge to urinate. What could hv caused it and what should I take to cure it?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have Acute Urinary Tract Infection especially Cystitis.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) What is your age ?
2) Did you have unprotected sex very recently?
3) Are you Diabetic?

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like
Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

I am 29 years and 9 months old. I am not diabetic. I have taken 2 table spoon cital syrup with half a glass of water and planning to start with augmenting. please suggest if it's right course or should I take something else?

You have not mentioned about sexual history in your reply to y questions.

Please follow the guidelines and take medicines which I have suggested in my reply earlier.

Augmentin is not effective in UTI as in soft tissue infection .
