Question: I have what I would call a bulge right under my left breast--maybe the spleen? It's painful if I touch it or sometimes when I'm sitting..

Brief Answer:
Soft tissues ultrasound should be done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Can you please attach a photo of it?

Spleen is located deep down in the abdominal cavity. It can not be palpated under left breast or anywhere else if its not enlarged. If it gets enlarged sometimes can be palpated but not as a bulge and not that high. Moreover spleen does not hurt at all.
Bulge under left breast can be a soft tissues lump like sebaceous cyst or lipoma. Sometimes a hernia can appear in this area especially if you have had any surgery in this area.
The best way to find out what exactly it is, is to have soft tissues ultrasound. Lumps like lipoma or cyst can be removed with small incision. Hernia can be also fixed by a surgeon.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
