I had no appitite and slept for 6 hours..after that the pain moved to the lower right..hurt to touch and move..It has eased up now, but I still feel some discomfort in my lower right side...could this be a virus or something else?..I also ran a low fever sat night...Should I get this checked out?

Brief Answer:
looks like appendicitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

Your symptoms of pain migrating from middle upper abdomen to right lower abdomen are very similar to that of appendicitis.

But as appendicitis is a clinical diagnosis, so i would suggest that you show to a surgeon for a clinical evaluation. Also a complete blood count and urine routine along with an ultrasound of the abdomen, will greatly help in reaching the diagnosis.

If it indeed comes out to be appendicitis, then you will need to undergo appendicetomy.

Hope i have been helpful.
