Question: I am having some upper adomen pain on the right side just below my ribs. its a burning type pain that
I have had for awhile. sometimes it seems to radiate through my back.

Your symptoms are very characteristic for gallstones. You may have a nausea and lack of appetite with this pain as well. It can start after specific foods intake.
I suggest you to start with abdominal ultrasound. If this test will confirm this diagnosis, laparoscopic surgery is necessary.
In a meanwhile please avoid any fatty foods, spicy foods, alcohol.
