Brief Answer:
Clinical assessment needed

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
A lump in the groin can be a hernia, a lymph node or a testicular mass only presenting as groin mass.
There are certain characteristics of hernia.
A hernia increases in size when intra-abdominal pressure increases like during coughing, sneezing or any other activity which causes straining.
A hernia increases and decreases in size on changing positions.
Hernia can be reduced back into the abdominal cavity.
Bowel movements can be felt and viewed if bowel loops are components of the hernia.
In case of lymph node or testicular mass, none of the above mentioned features will be present.
Pain the testicles can be due to compression of the tests due to any reason.
You need to consult your surgeon for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
Management can be planned thereafter.
If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.
Thanks and take care
