Question: My left upper arm and neck starting getting sore this afternoon and I am slightly light headed. Took Tylenol and drank water, and it is a little better. Taking blood thinner Xarelto, so it is not a stroke.

I understand your concerns. Let me mention that taking blood thinners does not mean that you are immune against strokes. There still lies a possibility although not with the mentioned symptoms. Rather, it could be due to stress on the heart. I think that you should go to the ER and get an EKG done to rule out any cardiac problems. You should not take chances with a heart cause even though the possibility of it being due to a muscle pain is also there and in the case of the latter, getting a tylenol will indeed help.
