Brief Answer:
Have you tried
Vitamin E supplements.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for writing in.
With pain in both the calves the first thing that comes to my mind is Deep Vein Thrombosis(blood clot in the legs). However , you say that an
ultrasound was done, and they have ruled it out. So don't worry.
Other causes of pain in the calves could be due to
1.electrolyte abnormalities (so do get your serum electrolyte levels checked),
2.overuse of the calf muscles (before and after any exercise do make sure you stretch each group of muscles well and have a good warm up, or else your muscles are going to be sore later).
Also do get your Serum electrolytes ,
Hemoglobin, Vitamin D ,
Vitamin B12 levels, blood sugar levels and TSH(thyroid function test) done.
Try using volini gel or
diclofenac gel . Apply a thin film of this gel on both calves and half an hour later do hot fomentation.
You could also take a vitamin supplement like EVION 400 IU (vitamin E) after consulting with your physician.
Hope my answer was helpful to you.
