Brief Answer:
seems to be sinusitis

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having left sided head-ache. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any running nose or nasal obstruction (cold) ?
Is your head-ache associated with ear discharge ?

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be sinusitis causing ear drum infection.

As such, nose or sinus infections can cause ear drum infection through Eustachian tube.

I suggest the following measures, to overcome your ear pain.

1. Take pain killer like tab. brufen 400mg twice daily.
2. Anti allergic medications tab.citrizine 10mg one at bed time.
3. Steam inhalation twice daily for nose and sinus secretions clearance.
4. put nasal decongestant drops xylometazoline 3 drops/3 times.
5. do not attempt self cleaning or water per ear (plug it with dry cotton).
6. Take antibiotic cap.amoxicillin 500mg thrice daily (needs medical prescription).

In case of persistent symptoms, needs to see primary physician or ent surgeon for the exact diagnosis and treatment.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
