Brief Answer:
No need for a second dose of Anti H.pylori

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The left rib pain is not due to H.pylori infection. So you do not need a second dose of anti H.pylori.
Tight sphincter and pain while passing stool could be due to anal fissures.
High fiber diet, plenty of fluids, stool softeners sitz bath and topical application of anovate would provide good relief.
in sitz bath you need to sit in a tub of warm water with your anus exposed to it for 5-10 minutes.

I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr.R.K

And the left rib pain?

Answered by Dr. Dr.P.Ratnakar Kini (20 hours later)
Brief Answer:
GERD, musculoskeletal pain are possible causes

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
By left rib pain I presume you mean left side chest pain.
Some of the causes include GERD, respiratory infection, heart related issues and musculoskeletal.

I believe xray chest was normal which rules out respiratory causes.
Kindly get a ECG done if not done already.
You can take Nexium and Dolo-650 for relief. Nexium is a prescription drug.

Dr.R.K.

Brief Answer:
More tests needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In one of the earlier posts I have discussed about the possible causes of your left sided chest pain.

Since you have had small bowel resection and weight loss, malabsorption should also be ruled out. Malabsorption can cause abdominal bloating.

You can consult your gastroenterologist for tests for malabsorption.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
Yes it can last this long.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Yes it can last this long.
Floating of stools could be due to fat malabsorption or increased fat in diet.
