Brief Answer:
Your symptoms seem to be related to chostochondritis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear!

Welcome back on HCM!

I understand your concern and would like to explain that your symptoms (sharp pain in this region) are not typical of a cardiac disorder.

Is the pain triggered by touching or deep breathing? This would go in favor of costochondritis. The location of the pain is also typical of this disorder.

Considering all your performed cardiac tests (which have resulted normal) and your symptoms (which are not characteristic of any cardiac disorders) I would not recommend performing further tests, because they are not necessary.

I would just recommend trying ibuprofen for the pain. It can help against inflammation too.

Hope to have been helpful to you!

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask me again!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Thank you for the additional information!

As, I have explained to you before, the heart does not hurt when touching the chest wall, because we can not touch it as it is really deep inside.

But the muscles and the other tissues (bones, joints, ligaments, skin, subcutaneous tissue) can hurt when touching.

So, in my opinion this is just a musculo-skeletal pain and you do not need to perform any further tests for this issue.

As a cardiologist, I would like to reassure you that your symptoms are not related to any cardiac disorders.

Ibuprofen can be helpful for the pain.

Hope to have clarified some of your uncertainties!

Let me know about everything! I would be happy to answer to all your questions!

Wishing good health,

Dr. Iliri

Hello again!

As a cardiologist, I would like to reassure you that your symptoms are not related to any cardiac disorder.

Sharp short stabbing pain in this region is typical of a musculo-skeletal disorder (including inflammation or chostochondritis).

So, in my opinion there is no need to perform any additional tests.

You can talk about this with your osteopath too.

Hope to have clarified some of your uncertainties!

I remain at your disposal whenever you need, at any time!

Brief Answer:
My opinon as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again dear,

Yes, it is not cardiac related.

In my opinion it may be just a stretched muscle from a wrong position during physical activity or sleeping.

I don't think that it is tendinitis, because tendinitis can cause severe pain when moving the arm and limitations of the physical activity.

A little massage in that area can help!

Let me know about everything!

Wishing all the best,

Dr. Iliri
